Former Tusker Project Fame (TPF) contestant David Major finally reunited with his sister after his photos on the streets went viral on Tuesday.
Fellow TPF star Alvan Gatitu had earlier revealed that he had managed to get a hold of David moments after his plight was shared online.
The former TPF favorite was taken to hospital for a checkup following his rescue.
“We have picked him and taken him to hospital. A team of physicians and psychiatrists are looking after him. We appreciate everyone who has called asking how they can help,” Alvan posted.
Alvan also hinted that David is battling a drug addiction and called on Kenyans to stand with him on the journey to recovery.
“Lots of things have knocked David out of shape. The immediate thing he needs right now is rehab and counseling,” the Tik Tok star recommended.
Comedian DJ Shiti was among personalities that took to social media to encourage the former singer urging him to hope for a better tomorrow.
Shiti shared the story of how he spent two months on Koinange street and managed to find his way to the top.
The comedian further promised to pay David a visit in hospital saying that he was one of his favorite TPF contestants back in the day.
“My brother, @i_am_david_major it shall be well. I myself I have gone through street, I slept at Koinange streets for two months so I understand. You will stand again bro. God is the provider of daily livelihood not man. All this is just a test of life,” he wrote.
