Four people were on Wednesday arrested in Kayole’s Mihang’o area and bhang with a street value of 4.5 Million recovered.
Kayole OCPD Mr. Paul Wambugu says that the bhang stashed in gunny bags had been traced from Migori County to the house in Kayole.
According to Wambugu, another consignment of bhang was also recovered from the said house.
“We have arrested four drug peddlers this morning, the four peddlers were in motor vehicles called Probox,” said Wambugu.
“We also have recovered nine sacks of unprocessed cannabis sativa and from the house we also recovered six and a half sacks of unprocessed cannabis sativa,” said Wambugu.

The bhang was netted following a tip off from the members of the public.
He has urged Kenyans to continue giving information to the police in a bid to fight drugs.
He has also urged the Judiciary to join hands by giving strict terms and bails while charging them in court.
Present was the new OCPD Ruai Mrs. Patricia Yegon who also urged Kenyans to help fight narcotics.
