Four Cops Found With Ivory Worth Ksh. 1 Million Charged In Court


copsFour Administration Police officers attached to high profile government officials have denied before kibera court of being in posession of of five kilos of ivory.

This follows their arrest at Nairobi West yesterday evening as they attempted to sell the ivory.

Constable Peter Kuria Kimungi is attached to a former Cabinet minister’s security detail while Constable Martin M. Marangu is attached to a Principal Secretary.

“Corporal Francis K. Karanja is attached to a Cabinet Secretary as a driver and Corporal Stephen Chege Ngawai is attached to a Principal Secretary Administration.”

They will be remanded in custody until Friday.
