Four suspected robbers who were arrested yesterday at  Nomanenos Club  in Kayole  Junction will be today arraigned in Makadara Law Courts the suspects were nabbed by police officers at the joint where they were found enjoying themselves.

The suspects includes John Munyao,Amos Kamau,Gilbert Ndirangu and John Warui.

 After thorough interrogation they led the officers in a house few kilometers from the club where various items including fake number plates,cash,motor cycle log books,House Breaking tools all believed to be proceeds of crime.

“Today 05/06/2023 Kayole 8 team acting on intelligence acted swiftly and conducted a raid at Nomanenos bar within Kayole Junction and managed to arrest the following prisoners; John Munyao, Amos Kamau,Gilbert Ndirangu and John Warui who were busy quenching their thirst at the said bar  and recovered assorted mobile phones suspected to be stolen property and other different modified keys of car breakings known as no. 6. After interrogations they led the officers to a house in a  building just a bout 50m from the bar where other items including various motor vehicle and motor cycle  reg plate numbers were recovered, other housebreaking tools and motor vehicle log books were also recovered. a total of kshs. 49000 stashed in one of the shoes hidden under their bed was also recovered as proceeds of crime and all kept as exhibits.’’ The police report reads in part.

Crime Charges

They will be charged with several counts including robbery with violence and preparation to commit a felony.

“A woman namely Monicha Wambui led the officers in the recoveries. she was also arrested and all escorted and booked at Kayole Police Station vide OB  no 77/05/06/2023 at 1620hrs to be charged with the offences of  robbery with violence, preparation to commit a felony  and  handling suspected property.’’ It continues.
