Kenya has confirmed its fourth case of Coronavirus in the country.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe says the patient traveled from London on 8th of March and arrived in the country on 9th.
The CS stated that the patient had presented herself in a private hospital within Nairobi after experiencing signs and symptoms of the deadly virus.
“We have received confirmation of another case of Coronavirus following tests carried out to our patients in one of our facilities this now brings the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country to four,” said Kagwe.
“The latest case was confirmed today at our national influenza laboratory in the country. The patient is reported to have travelled from London in the country from United Kingdom on the 8th of March 2020 and arrived in the country on the 9th of March,” said Kagwe.
Kagwe further urged Kenyans to to use the Toll Free number of 917 to report any suspected cases of Coronavirus.
