Muthoni who was the only woman to have attained the Mau Mau rank of field-Marshal died on Tuesday morning
Her grandson Samuel Kariuki says she was pronounced dead after being rushed to Radiant Hospital in Pangani, Nairobi.
He says the grandmother has never been admitted in Hospital .
However she kept saying she had an issue with her hand
” All she kept saying was that an issue with her hand because while in the forest, she had been shot and again fell and hurt her arm,” Kariuki said.
