French president Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Nairobi for his two day state visit.
The French leader arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after 2 pm and drove straight to the State House where he received a 21-gun salute before inspecting a guard of honour.
After the guard of honor Macron and president Uhuru Kenyatta then proceeded for a closed-door meeting for bilateral talks.
The French President will then tour Nairobi Central Railway Station off Haile Selassie Avenue before giving a joint press briefing with President Kenyatta.
