With just ten days to the much awaited FIFA world cup 2018, Ghetto radio has ensured that fans get a massive and different world cup experience this time round.

The 21st FIFA world cup will kick off on the 14th of June 2018 in Moscow Russia. This year will see 32 teams battle it out for the world cup champions tittle.

Ghetto Radio visited some of the fans on the ground to collect their views and expectation on this years’ world cup.

Farida Mohamed of Dandora says she is confident Brazil will lift the trophy this year.

“Brazil will definitely win this and I am certain that Neymar is going to outshine all other players in this world cup.” She says.

Asked whether she believes Kenya will ever make it to the world cup, Farida says there’s hope but alot still needs to be done. She goes on support the female national team  Harambee Starlets saying they have a better chance of reaching the world cup than their male counterparts.


This will be the first ever World Cup to be held in Eastern Europe and the eleventh time that it will be held in Europe.

Panama and Iceland are making their first ever appearance in the world cup games.

A total of 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities have been built and renovated for the FIFA World Cup.
