Ghetto Radio’s Breakfast Show Host Nicholas Cheruiyot popularly known as King Kafu is set to dine with the Nairobi Remand Prison inmates next week on Saturday.

King Kafu will be visiting the inmates at the Nairobi Remand Prison under his initiative Mfungwa Ni Binadamu.

The initiative which was launched a few years ago has seen King Kafu visit various prisons in Nairobi including, Kamiti Maximum Prison and Industrial Area Prison.

“The date for this year’s visit has been set and it is 30th of October. So I am appealing to well-wishers to please turn up and support this good cause,” said King Kafu in an interview.

The Mfungwa Ni Binadamu Initiative was launched in order to put focus on the plight and living conditions of inmates in prison.

The initiative also helps former convicts get integrated back into the society by hooking them up with projects and business initiatives.
