Kenya’s leading urban media house, Ghetto Radio last Friday turned the carnivore Simba Saloon to red, gold and green during the Korporate Reggae Festival.
According to the event’s brainchild, Ghetto Radio Boss, Julius Owino popularly known as Majimaji, this was the beginning of unifying Kenya’s purely Kenyan Reggae Industry sounds.
Backed up by a powerful sound system, the gates were opened from 4pm and saw hundreds of Reggae fans troop to iconic Simba Saloon.
Many came donning the Rastafarian outfits complete with matching bracelets and beaded necklaces.

Fans on feet
By midnight, Gravitti Band came forward delivering a memorable reggae set which kept fans on their feet.
As they wound up their show, it didn’t mean the end of the party. The star studded reggae DJ’s took charge as the night wined away.
Leading the pack of DJ’s was the widely traveled and most sought after entertainer, Double Trouble also known as Shida Mara Mbekse, Others were Chaplain, Chara, Kalonje,
Luzzy, Shiqx, Qevoh De Vokeh as well as Bonoko,King King,Katta and Majimaji who hyped up the charged crowd.
Reggae lovers networked and mingled freely sampling drinks and food thanks to carnivore’s unbeatable prizes offer.
