It has been 365 days, exactly one year after Ghetto Radio’s Majimaji, King Kafu and Annita Raey took over the morning show popularly known as Brekko and revolutionized it.
A show that previously attracted only a small segment of listeners has rapidly grown and maintained presence not only in the urban slums but the suburbs of Nairobi as well as on Social Media by trending at least everyday.
Programmes such as True Ghetto stories aired during the show have touched and changed many lives. The Kenyan Tuesday has seen the show promote local talents and given local artists a chance to showcase their music.
Youthful hustlers have also been empowered by through the Hustle Friday segment. In short this team also known as Team Fyam have brought a revolution to the radio industry.
Maintaining communication using the Kenya’s 43rd tribe, Sheng, indeed this team continues ruling the airwaves.
