Umoja one MCA Mark Mugambi alias RORO now says that his life in danger after he was attacked by goons while at the Nairobi Assembly Gate.
According to Mugambi he was accosted by two gentlemen who roughed him up as he entered the gate today morning.
“They confronted me at the gate and roughed me up saying heshimu Gavana wetu wewe which translates to (Respect Our governor),” he said.
He accused governor Sakaja’s supporters of the attack though his claims could not be substantiated.
“I want to ask our governor tucheze siasa safi the way he puts it I don’t have anything personal against him and what we are asking for is him to stop boardroom meetings and Azimio politics and work for Nairobians,” he said.

Mugambi who is the UDA minority whip maintains that they will continue performing their oversight roles despite receiving threats.
“We want to see him launching projects and he must find a way of working with all of us but that does not mean we stop our oversight role,” he said.
Meanwhile communication director office of the governor Pricila Wangui detached governor’s name from the incident promising to send a comprehensive statement later.
