Gor Mahia post second consecutive Victory


Gor-Jacques-Tuyisenge-1-300Gor Mahia won their second consecutive game with 2-1 victory against Thika United in a midweek SportPesa Premier League match played at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Gor Mahia who built up its first winning streak of the season defeating Kakamega Homeboyz 3-0  Saturday at Mumias Complex,are elevated to to the sixth position with 10 points after a wretched start to the campaign.

Rwandese international Jacques Tuyisenge struck twice to help champions Gor Mahia come from behind to edge out ten-man Thika United 2-1.

Tuyisenge however was unfortunate to pick up another injury, this time on the knee that had just recovered from a two month lay-off as he was knocked down by Muwonge outside the box.

Thika goalkeeper Muwonge was later sent off after receiving a second yellow card.

Head coach Jose Marcelo ‘Ze Maria’ Ferreira is hopeful that the stiker will be fit for the Sunday Match against Ushuru at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Coach Ferreira who has managed to record his second win since taking over,on the other hand has to worry about Ronald Omino who picked up head injury during the match.
