Gor Mahia FC are set to unveil their new team bus on Saturday, November 11th at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.
The event is set to take place just before the much awaited sportpesa derby between Gor Mahia and Muranga seal, which will kick off as from 4 pm.
Revealing this at a presser held at six eighty hotel, Gor Mahia chairman, Mr. Ambrose Rachiel said this new development would be a great addition to the club as the previous bus had been auctioned following the recent scuffle they had in court with a former player who sued the team.
The new bus is a state of the art Isuzu vehicle that has been fully customized with the club’s home colors and will be later branded with the club’s sponsor’s logo after the unveiling event.
It was originally meant to be a 67-seater but after much deliberation, the size was reduced to 42 for maximum comfort, with five seats being reserved as the V.I.P section just behind the driver seat.
The bus was donated by the Eliud Owalo foundation and will be majorly used to carry club officials and players.
The unveiling event is set to kick off from 9 am at the V.I.P section in Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani and will be graced by invited guests including ICT Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Eliud Owalo.
Gates will be open as from 6 am where fans will have time to tour the bus and take photos before the official ceremony starts.
Event tickets will be available online at tikiti.co.ke, *519*55# effective 8th November, with the prices being sh200 for regular and 500 for V.I.P access.
Admission will strictly be via the online ticket as no tickets will be sold at the gate.
