Government  Rolls Out  Kazi Mtaani Jobs to Youth in Eastleigh

The government through the Ministry of Interior has kicked off issuance of the Kazi Mtaani jobs in Eastleigh in a move to economically boost youth in the area who have been hit economically by the containment measures.

According to assistant county commissioner Kamkunji sub-county, Moses Lilan the government has mapped out the area and only deserving youth will be given.

“We have mapped out the area and we are only selecting vulnerable youths that have been affected by the lockdown…and so far we have issued more than 2000 jobs” He said.

He also cautioned those that still flout containment rules to desist before they catch up with them.

“We are receiving reports of some people using funny routes to sneak out and in Eastleigh..we shall catch up with them..the government is not imposing any punishment to the locals we are only containing the spread of COVID-19  now that Eastleigh is a hot spot,” he added.
