Government Rolls Out Kazi Mtaani Phase Two In Kamkunji, Politicians Warned Against Politicizing The Process

The government has rolled out phase two of the Kazi Mtaani project in most parts of the country, Kamkunji sub-county being one of the areas.
Kamkunji deputy commissioner Moses Lilan says that his office will ensure recruitment process is fair and only those deserving will get the opportunity.
‘‘We have been given 6,047 chances so far. What we are doing right now is to recruit these youths and ensuring that their personal data do tally to avoid confusion during payments…The ID numbers must tally with your name and your m-pesa number.’’ He said.
He further warned politicians against politicizing the recruitment process saying the project was solely from the president with an aim of cushioning youths during their hard times brought by Corona virus pandemic.
According to documents seen by Ghetto Radio, Kiambiu will have 1500 chances,Eastleigh North 879, Eastleigh south 1159,Pumwani 784,Shauri Moyo 747,Airbase 647 and Uhuru area 330.
