Government To pounce On Rogue Police Officers  Taking Bribes At the Eastleigh Roadblocks

The government  is set to pounce on the police officers  in Eastleigh estate manning the roadblocks who are caught on camera picking bribes  and  allowing a section of residents to move in and out of the area despite containment measures imposed by the government.

In an exclusive interview with Ghetto Radio News, Kamkunji  DCC Moses Lilan says  the officers are on the radar of the government adding that those who were captured on tape collecting bribes have been dealt with already.

‘‘We are not taking the matter lightly, personally I have contacted their commanders to ensure  sanity is back and those who were captured  on video tape will face the law.’’ He said.

He fuhrer asked Eastleigh residents  not to take the containment measure  as a punishment  imposed on them to destroy their livelihood but  as a ladder to stop the spread of Covid 19.

‘‘We are doing our best to ensure the areas that needs food support gets it  and the  Covid-19 jobs that were not announced by the president  will be issued starting tomorrow.’’ He added.
