All Western Public Service Vehicles using Nairobi CBD stages to Nyanza, Western, North Rift, South Rift, and Central Rift will be relocated to Green Park Terminus effective December 1st 2022.
The affected saccos and bus companies will use Green park terminus as their stage for dropping and picking points for passengers.
According to the new directive by Nairobi County governor Johnson Sakaja, the affected saccos and bus companies should vacate by December 1st.
“It was resolved that effective December 1, 2022, all PSVs Saccos and PSV companies offering services between Nyanza, Western, North Rift, South Rift, and Central Rift who are currently operating from Nairobi’s CBD will be relocated to the Green Park Terminus in the 1st Phase,” notice by County Secretary Jairus Musumba reads.

The Sh.250 million Greenpark terminus was constructed by the Nairobi Metropolitan Services for use by PSVs plying Lang’ata and Ngong Road routes to decongest the CBD.
In a meeting with Matatu operators Sakaja said the terminus will be exclusively for the long distance PSVs and that no sacco or bus company will be treated unfairly.
“We have discussed and agreed that Green park will be used by all long distance PSVs but what I can assure you is that this process will be free and fair for all, we shall not favour any company or sacco by allowing them to remain in CBD…so as we have directed it must take effect by December,” Sakaja said.
