Kamukunji Deputy County Commissioner is set to kick off an operation to drive off hawkers from the streets in Eastleigh.

Moses Lelan issued the notice of the operation saying it will kick off in line with the ongoing operations within Nairobi that started last week.

Speaking at a media briefing Lelan asked hawkers in Eastleigh and Kamukunji as a whole to keep off the streets to avoid chaos and inconveniences.

He saus the operation will go on until all hawkers are driven out of the streets and settled in their specific markets.
