Great Hope Children Founder Donates water, Food and Face Masks In Kayole Slums
Great Hope Children Founder Evans Oluoch has called on the government to fix food and sanitation challenges in the slums before Kenya stare at a lockdown.
The last two weeks he has been traversing soweto, Lower Savannah area donating foodstuff to the vulnerable a move he says will boost efforts to combat the effects of COVID-19 in slums.
Yesterday he dished out 600 face masks, 30 000 liters of water in Soweto to steer sanitation efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19.
‘‘For the face masks we want to protect our people in the slums who still do not have this vital item because of various reasons, and we shall be issuing a total of 600 masks daily to ensure people are covered.’’ He said.
