Guinness, Kenya’s leading stout beer and proud sponsor of DSTV English Premier League (EPL) broadcast, has launched a national consumer promotion that will give 2 consumers a chance to win a grand prize of Kshs. 2 Million each.
Launched today, the promotion dubbed “Choose Your Side” will run for the next 10 weeks, giving over Kshs. 40 million to loyal Guinness fans in form of cash and other prizes. It will reward over 30,000 consumers.
The national consumer promotion will see hundreds of consumers win daily and weekly prizes, with two winners walking away with Kshs. 2 million each. Eight other winners will take home Kshs. 500,000 each. In addition, there will be instant daily rewards for the lucky consumers in the promotion.
Guinness fans can take part in the promotion by purchasing a 500ml bottle of Guinness and sending the number under the crown to 21199.
Participants into the Grand Draw will have a chance to win a weekly cash prize of the Kshs. 500,000 or one of the two grand prizes of Kshs. 2 Million. Other daily instant cash prizes of up to Kshs. 1,000 are up for grabs
Guinness fans should also look out for Guinness ‘referees’ who will be visiting outlets across the country giving consumers chances to win. If you are spotted drinking the 500ml Guinness in your favorite bar, you could be randomly picked and given an opportunity to flip a virtual coin.
In the in-bar experience, upon tossing a coin, those who win ’heads’ will enter you into a draw for a chance to win cash (Kshs. 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000) and ‘Tails’ means an instant win of Guinness branded merchandise.
