H_art The Band Unveiled As The Black and White Affair Ambassadors

H_art the band has been unveiled as the official brand ambassadors and partners of Black and White’s latest campaign dubbed The Black and White Affair.

The band, popular for their club banger hits such as My Jaber, Masheesha and Ukimwona were revealed as the ambassadors for the blended Scotch whisky brand’s campaign last night at an event held at The Winning Post, Ngong Racecourse.

During a panel discussion one of the members of the band, Wachira, popularly known by his alias Skoko gave a brief of their music journey and their goals of elevating Kenyan Music and the industry.

“It’s been 10 years tangu tuanze kuimba…we’ve been together for that long. We’ve been growing along the way and our goal has always been getting Kenyan music and the industry at large to another level, a different level than yenye tumeipata,” he says.

He further explains  how they reached the decision of partnering with the whisky brand.

“Why Black and White?” the question was posed to him and he responded, “When Black and White approached us we were so excited because if you listen to our new album Party Time it is fun, bold and energetic na iko na hiyo style. Vijana ni wa ghetto lakini wameoga. Black and White pia inarepresent hizo vitu, so why not?” states Skoko.

The fun filled event would not be complete without performances from the band and appearances from various content creators such as the professional make up artist Dennis Karuri among others.

The Black and White Affair’s next event is set for 8th October in Nakuru at the Nakuru Athletics Club with entry tickets going for Ksh.500 redeemable for a 250ml Black and White whisky.
