Well, the celebrated funnyman revealed that he was a victim of hacking.
According to Bena Wa Malines, the hacker demanded 800k in order to surrender the accounts.
“Sasa alikuwa anaitisha doo, alikuwa anaitisha 800k ndio anirudishie accounts zangu” Said Bena
He termed the period as the most harrowing.
He suffered losses running into thousands of shillings.
He had just completed a live session when he realized he couldn’t regain control of the accounts.
“After nimetoka hivi live msee aka hack accounts juu nilimalizanga live around 11 hivi so 11:30 eeh naingia kwa IG haiload, najaribu kui search inasema haiko username not found” He lamented
With content to feed his fans yet hit by limited space to share, Bena turned to You Tube.
His consistency grew his traffic and he managed to weather the storm.
A few days ago, Bena featured part of Crazy Kennar’s former cast member, Yvonne Khisa.
The latter has gone through a dark period after bolting out of Kennar’s wings.

Her skits have been termed ”Flat” with Kennar’s popularity soaring.
Despite evading the Kennar, Yvonne saga, Bena disclosed that he has a good chemistry with the latter.
He added that it was normal for content creators to collaborate with each other.
Working With Motif
Bena has worked with renowned music producer, Motif on a song.
However, Bena has not ventured into music as many thoughts.
What happened is that Motif sampled his popular phrase ”ukipata chance ya kutesa tesa”.
The prolific producer requested Bena to assemble a few talented upcoming stars who sang the verses.
The song’s video also has Bena and Motif making an appearance.

Fatherhood Experience
Bena became a father on the 26th of July 2023.
Though not yielding much on his relationship.
The fourth year University student of Journalism and Mass communication said it made him a better person.
