Harambee Stars asked to stop prejudice when selecting players

Harambee Stars team coaches have been urged to stop being bias in the selection of players for players of the National team in order for the team qualify for huge tournaments like the World Cup.

Felix Ochieng, Wajiji FC Captain says coaches being bias has in long way affected the performance of the Kenyan National team in many levels.

“This is majorly seen during the football trials where by a team of known selected players only qualify without giving any opportunity to upcoming players.”

Wajiji FC was hosted in Ghetto radio’s Goteana Show to help in analyzing the current World Cup Matches an intitiative started by Ghetto Radio under the hastag #WorldCupMtaani.

Ochieng also faulted the recycling of old coaches as the reason why Harambee Stars has been performing dismally.

“Kenya has a habit of recycling coaches. A coach from the 90’s cannot coach present teams cause the games are different. We should allow new coaches with fresh ideas to come and change the game, for even Kenya to have a shot at the world cup” says Wajiji FC striker Kennedy Otieno.

He says that the game has changed for years and appointing new coaches with fresh ideas and strategies will better the game and even allow Kenya to dominate the African cup.
