Coach Ken Odhiambo has named the Harambee Stars U23 squad for the upcoming 2024 COSAFA Cup which Kenya has been invited to as a guest participant.
The team consists of a blend of experienced players, including Anthony Akumu and Johnstone Omurwa, have also been drafted into the team, alongside U18 prodigies Amos Wanjala and Aldrine Kibet, who made a mark at last year’s CECAFA U18 Championships.
The team will be under the guidance of Harambee Stars assistant coach Ken Odhiambo. His compatriot in the senior national team, William Muluya, will support him.
The 2024 COSAFA Cup is set to be hosted in South Africa from June 26 to July 7, 2024.
