Fridah Harriet, a Kenyan lady living and working in the Netherlands has launched a desperate search for her dad in the internet.
Her dad’s, Zakayo Kinyua Mbaabu hails from Kariene area in Nkubu, Meru County.
Her parents separated when she was barely 3 yrs.

She added that she is ready to put the past behind them and reconcile as father and daughter. Harriet is now 30 years old raising a 6-year-old daughter.
Why Harriet’s dad left.
Harriet claims she doesn’t know the reason her parent’s separation.
She added that her mother always said how she loved her husband even after he left.
“Dear dad. I don’t know why I woke up today feeling I should reach out for you.”
Enough of hiding, I am going to repeat this one more time. I have lived all my life without you, but I have finally grown to be a very forgiving and understanding woman. I honestly would love to believe you had your reasons to leave. I have decided not to be part of the misunderstanding between you and mum. I have forgiven you,” Harriet said.

The reason she’s looking for her dad now.
She said that growing without a dad wasn’t easy and doesn’t wish it for her daughter. She wants her daughter to bond with the grandfather.
She has already reached out to her step siblings but none of them knows the whereabouts of the dad. The family has agreed to let go of the past and close that chapter.

They all want him back whether dead or alive.
“I can beat my chest how I want but you are the reason I came to this life. So I can’t distance myself from that privilege of being your daughter. I am still proud of you! I have your DNA and you can’t cut Fridah and not bleed you.
She is who she is partially because of you. Mum brought us up well, she made sure we can’t hate or speak ill of you. I still laugh at why she loved you this much,” she further said.
She has also apologized to her father in case he felt embarrassed for putting the situation on social media.
She said she had no other option since she had tried everything in her power with no fruits.
