Hazard; Chelsea have the Secret to Win the League

Chelsea striker Edin

Chelsea striker Edin Hazard has called on the league leaders Chelsea to use their experience of winning the premier league title two years ago as they look to claim the crown this season.

The Belgium attacker clinched the PFA Player of the Year award as he inspired Chelsea’s 2014/15 triumph under Jose Mourinho.

However, the Blues endured unsuccessful defense of their title that led to the sack of Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager experienced his worst season as a coach of the blues as Hazard endured the worst form of his Stamford Bridge career.

The Belgium captain is now approaching his best form under the guidance of Italian manager Antonio Conte with which the attacker has shown signs of getting back to his former glory days following various assists.

Hazard set up Diego Costa’s late goal to seal 3-1 win over Swansea City on Saturday a win which sees the blues end the weekend 10 points clear of second placed Tottenham.

Manchester City can close the gap to eight points should the side win their game in hand against their rivals Manchester United but Hazard believes Chelsea know how to close out the title race with 12 games remaining.

“We have been leading for a few months and we want to stay at the top and we have to take it game after game.”

The 26-year-old had missed earlier chances before providing the assist for Costa, but said: “For me it is the same if I score, don’t score or assist.

“Even if I don’t make an assist or score goals – if I play a good game and we win, I will be the first man happy on the pitch, “Hazard told Chealsea official website.

The blues are comfortably on top of the table with 10 points ahead of the second placed Totenham with 12 matches to go.
