Here is The Ward In Kibra With The Highest And Least Number Of Voters


Kibra constituency has a total of 118,658 voters, this is according to a newly revised voter register released by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

According to the register Sarang’ombe ward is leading all the five wards with a total of 30, 754 voters followed by Woodley at 28,066, third is Makina with 25,695, then Laini Saba with 17,455 and finally Lindi with 16,688.

IEBC in a statement stated that the revision of the register of voters was completed for the purposes of the by election slated for the 7th of November.

ODM had last month demanded that the new register be released to them failure to which they will storm the IEBC offices.

On Sunday during a rally in Kibra the party’s director of elections issued fresh demands that the commission releases the list of all the presiding officers for the elections.

Junet also accused IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati of planning to use presiding officers who are not from Kibra to jeopardise the elections.
