Diamond Platnumz has not been seen with his heavy weight bodyguard Mwarabu Fighter for a long time prompting speculation that he had laid him off.
The bodybuilder recently confirmed that he has not been working for the WCB boss since February 2018.
“Kimsingi watu walikuwa hawajui, mimi nilisimamishwa kazi muda mrefu, tangu mwezi wa pili mwaka huu, niliambiwa tu nibaki nyumbani mpaka nitakapoitwa. Basi muda wote huyo nimekuwa nikifanya mazoezi na kufundisha vijana mambo ya ngumi, kwa hiyo ukiniuliza kuhusu kumlinda Diamond nitakuambia kwa sasa simlindi pengine yatakayofuata baadaye yatajulikana huko,” said Mwarabu Fighter during an interview with Tanzania’s Ijumaa Wikienda
Reports say Mwarabu Fighter’s pursuit for off-days was the reason why he was quietly let go.
Diamond reportedly decided to relieve Mwarabu of his duties after he learnt that he had complained on the manner that he handles him to fellow star Rayvanny’s manager.
Mwarabu allegedly approached Rayvanny’s manager Makame to complain that he didn’t have enough time to rest and do his own stuff because he was always with Diamond even when his service wasn’t necessarily needed.
Mkame then decided to follow up the matter which led to Mwarabu’s lay off.
