Gospel star Hopekid has opened up on how he has been having difficulty in working with fellow gospel artistes since his sex scandal broke out earlier this year.
According to Hopekid, most gospel stars don’t want to work with him and every time he reaches out he gets turned down.
The singer says it is easier for him to do collabos with secular artistes rather than gospel artistes.
The singer recently dropped a jam dubbed ‘Testimony’ featuring Khaligraph Jones.
“sikupata ugumu kufanya collabo na Khaligraph nilimpigia akaniambia kuja studio day fulani nikaweka song on repeat after few minutes he was done,” he said
He further added that his fellow gospel artistes have been taking him in circles every time he wants to work with them.
“It is very difficult to do a collabo with a gospel artist than secular sai nikichukua simu niambie mtu wa secular ati nko na ngoma na nataka udrop verse ataniambia kuja a producer wako studio yangu tufanye itoke lakini sai nikiambia gospel artist msee aaleta story mingi.” he added
