In an exhaustive broadcast that rocked airwaves yesterday, Ghetto Radio’s morning breakfast show dubbed “Brekko” shaped the conversation with calls for the Cs to act promptly.
Presenters led by Majimaji,King Kafu and DJ Katta had a comprehensive discussion on the issue where audience also had a chance to air their views on the matter where they called on the government to move with speed and institute stringent measure to address road carnage.

Kindiki Accidents Response
With 4,324 deaths in one year as a result of road carnage, the Cs declared the menace worse than COVID 19 pandemic.
“It’s up to Kenyans to save ourselves because these deaths are too much and premature. We had Covid-19, a terrible epidemic in two years, and the people who died out of the pandemic were over 4,000. Yet in one year alone 4,324 died out of crashes. This means that this problem is worse than the pandemics,” he said.
Immediate Measures
The new measures includes bringing back National Transport and Safety Authority officer to the road, additional officers to enhance enforcement among other measures.
“On Monday we lost close to 20 people in separate incidents. Road accidents are becoming a major killer in our country,” the CS added.
“We must obey traffic rules, we must all work together and clean our roads from all manner of rogue road users who are careless,” Kindiki said.
