I am Firmly in  Azimio and Will Support Igathe, Tim Tells Off  Detractors

Azimio la Umoja gubernatorial aspirant Polycarp Igathe today  held a meeting with Westlands Member of Parliament Tim Wanyonyi a meeting that took place at Tims’ offices Lenana road.

According to the insiders they  discussed weighty   issues including gubernatorial campaigns and possible political matrix that will steer the coalition to victory.

“It was an impromptu visit and the two discussed city politics among other emerging issues.’’ a source told Ghetto Radio News.

Tim says  he will defend his Westlands member of parliament seat as agreed by Azimio top brass further dispelling rumours that he was in talks with  UDA’s gubernatorial candidate Johnson Sakaja.

“Leadership is about serving people, this has been my philosophy for the past 15 years and I am confident it shall remain so. As I have said before it has never been about me, it shall never be about me, it will always be about the people ‘si mimi ni sisi’. I am ready to serve the people of Westlands for the third term and I remain firmly in my party ODM and the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya. To all my supporters, thank you for believing in me, the dream leaves one,’’ Tim said in a statement.

Yesterday Nairobi governor Kananu declared her support to Igathe promising to campaign for him in Azimio political vehicle.

Kananu described  Igathe as a visionary manager who will steer Nairobi County to greater heights.

“We are here to thank our Jubilee party leadership for the decision they took and the direction they took to nominate one Polycarp Igathe. I know he did his part and left the same way I come in and am leaving. So I want to encourage him today, Nairobi county is still intact and i believe that the work I have done, he is going to take it to the next level and I want to assure Polycarp Igathe that I am going to give you 100% of my support.” Kananu said.
