Bank Otuch hit maker Vicmass Luo Dollar now says he respects gengetone but cannot sit down to listen to the music genre.
Speaking in an Interview with Standard Entertainment and Lifestyle, Vicmass said the new genre really saved Kenyan music.
“I’m not a fan of Gengetone music but the genre should be respected as it saved Kenyan music. Before Gengetone, Nigerian music dominated the airwaves and you wouldn’t even notice when Kenyan artists released their music. Even though I can’t sit down and listen to Gengetone, I am happy about the change the music brought to the industry- give them the respect they deserve,” he said
The rapper further urged those managing gengetone artistes not to exploit them.
Vicmass is currently riding on his new jam ‘Why not’ which he dropped on 14th September.
