Boondocks Gang member Maddox has come out to refute claims that he needed to visit a rehabilitation center.

This is after Oga Obina asked his fans to contribute money to help the musician visit a rehabilitation center for a year.

Maddox claimed that he is not addicted to any kind of drug and that currently he is using water.

“I am not addicted to any drugs and I do not need to go to any rehab. I am not a fan of drugs; maybe they were using me. But first thing I am not a fun of drugs maybe the drugs were using me. I do not want to use any, including alcohol. Right now unless I am the water ambassador,”Maddox said.

Maddox explains why he was in the streets.

He later on said that he was in the streets since he never received any payment from the songs they sung.

According to him, netizens misjudged him and thought that he was addicted to drugs and needed help.

“If you see me in the streets, it is because I was not being paid money for the music we used to release. We used to go to the studio release music, the other members were being paid while I was not getting my share of the money and people mistook that for me not being okay mentally and that was a lie,” Maddox added.
