I flew On Planes with Bahati Yet I Couldn’t Afford House Rent, Weezdom

Former gospel Singer and Bahati’s manager Weezdom has opened up on how he stopped working with Bahati after living large, flying in planes but was unable to pay his house rent.

Speaking during an online interview with Comedian Jalang’o, the ‘Roba Roba’ Singer revealed that life had become so unbearable for him yet the outside world thought he had deep pockets with proceeds from managing Bahati and producing his reality TV Show.

“Tumechukua flight kutoka Mombasa sawa tuko mbioni tunachukua ingine kwenda na Jalas wapi Kisumu unanipata, hiyo siku mbwembwe lazima, unajua landlord wangu tuko na number za whatsapp so ana view whatsapp status anaona nimesema ‘Mombasa’ alafu tena Kisumu next stop, sijalipa nyumba, saa hiyo ananiambia ‘bora usimalize pesa,usisahau ujamaliza kulipa’ hiyo ndio reply ya status.. Niliona heri niumie nikiwa solo, nikitafuta njia kuliko hii association,” Said Weezdom.

This was the second time he broke ranks with the ‘Barua’ Singer, in their first fall-out Weezdom alleged that Bahati never wanted him to grow musically as he kept him for almost a year without releasing any new music despite him fronting songs to him, in addition Bahati went as far as thwarting his bid to collaborate with female gospel Star Size 8.

“Nilikuwa nimerecord ngoma nyingi sana lakini nikimletea anaikataa, nikienda studio narecord nikimletea anaskiza ‘Verse ni noma, chorus ndio shida, kesho nikikam na ingine ananiambia’ sasa hii chorus ni nomaa verse ndio mbaya.. Bahati akaniambia ‘wewe saa hii si wakati wa kuimba na Size 8,imba kwanza ujisimamishe vizuri,” recalled Weezdom in what prompted their first break up before he move to Dj Sadic’s ‘ Genius Records where he collaborated with Janet Otieno on ‘Amka Ucheze’.

The ‘Nimetoka Far’ Singer who dropped out of school in form three due to school fees reiterated the notion going round that he’s a hypocrite, he maintained that he’s human and is bound to make mistakes.

He disclosed that he exited from the gospel ministry after being harshly victimized.
