She told trial judge Justice Grace Nzioka that on the fateful day 19th September 2018 she was in the studio carrying out interviews up to around midnight when she left in the company of her guests.
Her guests included Juliet Julie alias Juju, Chelangat Ruto and Anita Thumbi and was later joined by former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and remained in the club until 4.am.

She told the judge that the first accused Joseph Kuria Irungu was the one driving her KCA 031E and she was in control of the motor vehicles, the same was use by first accused to drop at her place of work and she did not have control after that.
“I did not have control over my crafter it dropped me at work place, It is first accused Irungu who was having my car,” Maribe testified.
She testified that she did not know the late Monica Kimani, her relatives and her place of her abode.
She further told the court that she did not participate or witness the burning of cloth.
“I did not witness burning of kanzu or participate,” she added.
The court directed panties file their written submission and the matter be mentioned on 26th June 2023 to confirm compliance.
