High flying digital content creator Sammyro has revealed that he was called gay for following his dreams.
Sammyro made the revelation during an interview with Ghetto Radio’s Majimaji and King Kafu on the Friday’s Breakfast show dubbed ‘Brekko’.
According to Sammyro, he is a talented footballer who hanged his boots out of fear for being stuck.
“Wakaniambia wewe ni fala wewe unaachaje ball unaanza kufanya upuzi, mimi niliitwa hadi shoga mtu wangu sababu mimi sikuacha ball juu sijui, mimi niligwaya tu kukwama, mimi naogopa kukwama by the way” he asserted partly.
Saying No To Thug Life
Sammyro further opined that for one to make it out from the ghetto it’s either through education or football.
He also pointed out at the most followed venture which is touting.

Sammyro further chuckled listeners when he affirmed that footballers and touts attract the most beautiful women.
“Mtaa unajua success stories za mtaa ni either usome upite ama ukuwe footballer uende ama ukuwe konkodi kwanza konkodi na footballer ndio hupita na wadem wasupa mtaa, wewe ukuwe konkodi wa 58 upige Airforce jeans ya ivusu mzeiya unapanga hadi bibi ya mca, unapangiwa hadi bibi ya mca mzee lakini sasa inakuwanga sad sababu ukikwama ki ball lap inakuwanga tu sasa ugondi” he explained partly.
Maandamano Experience
The witty figure further shared his maandamano experience during the recent anti-finance bill protests.
Sammyro noted that cops seemed unperturbed when hundreds of demonstrators sang the National Anthem in unison.
However, he disclosed that things took a different turn after the anthem which saw him being struck with water from the police canon truck.
He added that the water irritates like nobody’s business, the irritation takes long when one sweats.
“Imagine hawakutugusa tuliimba, Natukae na Uhuru amani na undugu raha tupate na ustawi…nilipigwa maji ya sura eeh ya pink hiyo maji inawasha” he continued partly.
While summing up, Sammyro regretted the use of goons from the East Land’s neighborhood.
He was at pains with how it turned to a robbery spree with hundreds losing their valuables.
