I Will Not Quit Music, Bahati


Musician Kevin Bahati has said that he will not quit doing music despite him joining politics.

Bahati says that he will still be doing to inspire and change people’s lives as he focuses on politics.

He also revealed that he is going to release an Extended Playlist soon despite the busy campaign schedule.

“I think for me music is passion and every opportunity that I have been given in life I use it to inspire more people. I will not quit music of course and even during my campaign season I will release hits and I have an EP soon. So I am still in music because as I am changing the lives of people of Mathare where I come from I will also be inspiring people,” Bahati said.

The musician also denied ditching ODM for Jubilee after he released a campaign song for Hon Raila Odinga.


“Right now ODM and Jubilee are one thing, so I am in Azimio and I am part of that campaign team that will be going round the country to campaign for baba. I have a lot of friends of are willing to come through because they know that I when I say I will do anything I will do it. It is not because of cash but I know the people of Mathare will choose me not because of cash but because of a good heart,” Bahati added.

Speaking on his future political career, Bahati says that he will be running for a presidential seat in 2037.

“Mark the date, in 2037 Bahati Kevin Kioko will be the president of this country. Because it is about the dream. I am so passionate of serving the people and showing them that anything can be done. I believe in empowerment and telling people that everything can be done despite all the challenges,” says the musician.

Bahati has joined the list of celebrities like Jalango and Mc Jesse who are running for a political seats.
