Both Ibraah & Jovial Embrace Forgiveness
Both Ibraah and Jovial own up to their mistakes finally embracing forgiveness and rekindling their love.
Kicking off the onslaught is none other than Ibraah who serenades Jovial with sweet Swahili words while rhyming here and there creating the musicality complimented with his raspy voice.
Additionally, Ibraah asserts that the emptiness is slowly killing him while pleading with Jovial to come back home.
“Baby najuta kiburi niliyojitia mwenzio maumivu yamemikithiri sio siri itanitesa haya mapenzi minyoo kama kosa nimekiri baby nisamehe…nimemisi kukukumbatia mwenzio” sings Ibraah partly.
Both Ibraah and Jovial take turns to sing the chorus which features high repetition of the sensual term “Chibaby” which loosely translates to a loved one.
As the chorus fades, Ibraah goes on with a few sweet lines before Jovial comes through with her soft enchanting vocals filled with regret.
In addition, she rhymes perfectly further adding life to their collaboration which easily drives the message home about couples realizing their mistakes after a separation with the sole quest of rekindling their love.
“Nahisi kama ndoto ama shetani alitupitia kweli kiburi utoto hata mimi nilikumisi dear ujana maji ya moto ama ndio yanatumwagikia” she sings partly.
Surprisingly, both Ibraah and Jovial are good at singing songs themed around love with this collaboration being a perfect ground debuting them as a “super collaborators”.
