Gospel singer Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa died of high blood pressure.
According to a postmortem that was conducted yesterday, the doctor’s report said “he died due to blood pressure that had caused heart enlargement.”
Today, family and friends will meet at St. Mary’s hospital for a service and body viewing then the procession will leave Nairobi for Western Vihiga County.
He will be buried on 16th February.

Poisoning Claims
A few days ago, the father of the late gospel artist Ilagosa wa Ilagosa spoke to bloggers about the allegations that circulated on social media about the cause of his son’s death.
In an interview with journalists last week on Thursday, the old man said his son had been poisoned by his close friend.
“In short, although I was not around but following the words of the people, it is said that he was given poison from the trip where they were and it affected him,” said the old man who was full of grief and sadness.
Ilagosa’s fellow artist Harry Richie, hitmaker of the song Vaida, also spoke about the issue, saying that it is highly likely that he ate poison that was given to him by his friends.
