American actor, filmmaker, Tyler Perry has reacted to President William Ruto’s visit to his Atlanta studios, expressing his regret at not being able to meet the Kenyan leader due to his booked schedule.

Taking to his Instagram page, a regretful Perry revealed that he was heartbroken he couldn’t have made a meet-up with Ruto happen, promising to make a Kenyan trip soon.

“Unfortunately my schedule was booked and I’m heartbroken that I couldn’t move things around in time to be there to greet President Ruto of Kenya as he and his family and delegation toured Tyler Perry studios,” he said.

“The good news is that means I will have to make my way to Kenya very soon! I am honored, humbled, and thankful that you stopped by President Ruto.”

Perry also thanked legendary comedian and TV host Steve Harvey for ultimately saving the day.

President Ruto and his entourage toured the Tyler Perry studios on his second day of his US visit and was warmly recieved by Family Feud TV host and stand-up comic Steve Harvey.

Tyler Perry Studios

The Tyler Perry Studio was opened back in 2019 and attracted some of the biggest names in Hollywood – and beyond.

It stands as  one of the largest film production studios in the United States.

The facility, a 330-acre studio, is one of the largest in the US, and once served as a Confederate army base.
