Described by many as Dandora’s greatest striker Wadunga’s passion for football development and scouting has made him a household name amongst football enthusiasts.

Who Is Anthony Wadunga ‘’Dino’

Speaking to Ghetto Radio news, ”Dino’s” childhood friend Samuel Ouma commonly known as ”Aboi ” says Anthony Wadunga started playing soccer for the MYSA under 12,14,16 For Espanol under the legendary coach, Ernest Mukabana where he played as a striker and later played for the Dandora Youth Football team.

He describes him as a reckoning force whose football prowess will be remembered and celebrated by many

Further to that Ouma says, Dino was part of the Dandora Youth Team that won the Super Eight soccer tournament organized by Extreme sports,

The Win opened more doors for Dino with him traveling for trials in Belgium and Greece

Dino settled Finland  and pursued a Degree in sports management scouting and coaching ‘’ Added Ouma

Wadunga set up   Dino Foundation which besides mobilizing resources for young football talents in Dandora became a mentoring ground for upcoming football stars

He was also part of the  Dandora Legends Team and was pushing for ways in which the recently crowned Chapa Dimba champions, Dandora Young Kings, and other upcoming footballers  can get more opportunities and support .

In Memory Of ‘’Dino ‘’

Anthony Wadunga passed away on Wednesday 15th 2024 after a short illness

Reports of his death sent a shockwave and  disbelief through the ranks of his supporters,  friends and his family.

In memory of the celebrated Legend ,there will be a football tournament on Saturday May 25th 2024 at the  Dandora Stadium with  various teams  including Ghetto Radio’s soccer team.

The Funds drive  soccer tournament  in honor of Dandora’s Gretesr Striker  is dubbed ”Last Kick For Dino”
