Investigations launched into the brutal murder of night guard

Police have launched investigations into the brutal murder of a night guard at a building in Ngara along Parkroad.

The night guard only known to the traders of the building as Joshua was allegedly killed on Sunday night by unknown individuals.

Traders at the building told Ghetto Radio news that they found the body of the night guard lying on the floor, with his legs and hands tied on his back.

“My colleagues who came in early in the morning say that they found him lying on the floor with his face down. his hands were tied with his belt and his legs were tied with a rope and his mouth taped,” said the trader who did not want to be named.

“We suspect that he struggled with his killers because he had blood on his face and his head looked like had been hit by a blunt object,” he said.

Only one Mpesa shop had been broken into with an unknown amount of money being stolen.

Some eye witnesses claim that the killers were after a businessman who had sought refuge in the building and the guard had refused to let them in.
