Isuzu East Africa speaks on “repossessed” Ruto bus

Isuzu East Africa has refuted claims that it had repossessed a bus donated by Deputy President William Ruto to a secondary school in Tigania West Constituency in Meru County.

A director from Isuzu East Africa says that it did not repossess the bus but it has been undergoing the building process.

According to the director the bus remains with a few fittings which will be finished today (Wednesday).

“This bus was never repossessed, it has been with us undergoing building process. The bus is now ready, the few remaining fittings, we shall complete today and tomorrow morning we shall hand over the bus to the school,” he said.

The director has also dismissed a letter doing rounds on social media claiming that the bus had been repossessed.

“I want to confirm that the letter which is cirulating in social media is a fake one. It did not originate from Isuzu East Africa. Everything in that letter is fake,” he said.

A section of residents in Tigania West had sounded an alert after the secondary school bus was taken back by the dealer, claiming it had been repossessed.
