The Nairobi’s edition of the ongoing CAF C License coaching course came to an end on Friday with 30 coaches from Kisumu and Kakamege getting a chance to become qualified football trainers opening up job opportunities both at home and abroad.

Instructor Twahir Muhiddin says that In order to engage in football a player must be natured as early as six years so that by the time he reaches 16 years he is done with training and ready for experience.

Twahir Muhiddin is an association football coach who manages Kenya Premier League side bandari , he was the assistant coach of the Kenya National Team under German coach Antonie Hey. Muhiddin stopped playing football due to his eye problem.

“In order for a player to be ready to start playing in leagues for experience he must first finish 10000hrs of training,” says Muhiddin.

The FKF Technical Department has lined up two courses for the coaching instructors, a first of its kind, the first will be held between December 9, and December 13, 2019, for Advanced Course instructors, while the second will be held between December 16, and December 20, 2019, for CAF C License instructors.

Speaking to Ghetto sports Coach Ondiake Mwambe says that the training has been intense and in terms of enhancement the training has natured them physically and mentally.

“Now the coaches have become more qualified to hand youth players professionally,” he says
