‘’The memorial is considered the most important day of the year for Jehovah’s witnesses,’’Victor Karoki, spokesperson for Jehovah’s witnesses said.

‘’But around the world, millions of people who are not Jehovah’s witnesses attend this special event. We hope that members of our local community will also join us in remembering Jesus Christ.’’

The annual observance of the lord’s evening meal is to feature a talk highlighting the significance of Jesus’s death and what it means for all of mankind.

“Attending the memorial and special talk is one way of showing my gratitude to Jehovah for what he has done for me and for millions of others,”

“I appreciate the sacrifice he made of Jesus so that I could gain everlasting life,’’ Hanifa Othieno has been attending the memorial for almost 50 years.

In March 2024, Jehovah’s witnesses have been running a special campaign to invite the public to two special events.

A special talk titled ‘’The Resurrection Victory Over Death!’’ is going to be delivered at local Kingdom Halls on the weekend of march 16 and 17, 2024.

The 30-minute, bible-based public talk is going to focus on the scriptural hope of a resurrection of the dead in the near future.

The programs to the two events are to be presented in English, Swahili, Kikuyu, Kamba, Luo, and Kenyan sign language.
