American Singer,Actress cum dancer Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez a former baseball Star have officially parted ways.
The two who have been together since 2017 have finally called off their two year engagement and will focus on moving on as friends.
The pair delivered the news in a joint statement.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so, we will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent the kind words and support,” read the statement.
In the recent past there have been speculations that the couple called off their engagement, but never came to confirm the reports until now.
The romours of the break up had emerged after Jennifer Lopez shared photos of her new movie “Shortgun Wedding” in which her engagement ring was missing.
Rodriguez had proposed to Jennifer Lopez in the Bahamas after two years of dating.
Lopez 51, was previously married to Ojani Noa(1997-1998), Dancer Cris Judd and Marc Anthony (2004-2014) with whom she shares 13 year old twins, Max and Emmie.
The ‘love don’t cost a thing’ Singer who performed at Joe Biden’s Inauguration in January, was also spotted with the 45 year old Rodriguez having a good time at the ceremony.
