Mombasa county governor Ali Hassan Joho has said that his name will be in the presidential ballot box come 2022.
Speaking in Likoni where he issued bursaries to over 2000 needy pupils, Joho said that he has managed to unite all the people in Mombasa and he is now ready to unite the whole country.
Joho challenged Coast leaders claiming that he cannot lead the country also to declare their interest for the top most seats.
He said nothing will stop him from fulfilling that dream and is hopeful of achieving it no matter how long it takes.
According to Joho, Ruto has sensed Kenyans will punish him for Jubilee’s mistakes hence he has started distancing himself from it.
“I want to tell him to take full responsibility for the Jubilee failures. He is second in command therefore he must carry the cross,” he said.
Joho also told off DP Ruto for pushing his ‘wheelbarrow politics’ to the youths saying he has failed them.
“Why didn’t he give youths those wheelbarrows in 2013, 2014,2015,2016,2017,2018? Why now?” he posed.
The Governor also warned his critics among them Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa to stop rubbishing his 2022 prospects.
“If they are men enough, let them also declare their candidature instead of dismissing me”, he added.
