Ugandan artist Jose Chameleon is reaping big this week after scooping a whopping Sh1.4 million (Ug Sh.50 million) during a social media campaign.
The campaign dubbed ‘Golden Song Of The Week’; nominates four songs which are shared weekly and fans get to vote for their best song. This week Chameleone’s ‘Champion’ emerged top after beating the other three nominated songs.
The reward comes days after the singer was recognized and awarded the Legend accolade at the recent Zzina awards at Freedom city.
The week seems to be one of blessings for the singer who received the reward just hours before his daughter Xara Amani Mayanja was born.
It comes as no surprise that the video won favor in the eyes of viewers thanks to the creativity and technology deployed in the making of the video.
