Veteran journalist Rita Tinina is dead. Police said Tinina’s body was found at her Kileleshwa apartment in Nairobi on Sunday, March 17.

Her colleagues at NTV said she was scheduled to be on duty on Sunday but failed to show up, and she could not be reached on the phone.

This prompted the managers at her place of work to go to the house where the body was found.

The cause of the death is yet to be known, police said. Her family was present as police arrived to pick up the body to the mortuary pending autopsy.

Rita’s Ntv Comeback

She was a mother of one girl.

She has been in the media for over a decade starting from NTV before she moved to KTN.

She made a comeback to NTV in October last year.

At the time of this publication NTV had not released a statement .
